"Sometimes When I Dream"
Sometimes we dream of that which will come to pass in our life's. This may sound strange to some but if we take a moment to really see things the way they are its can be interesting I feel. When I was but a child in the village of my people, there was this old man that came once a week; he would sit by the well in the centre of the village. When the children such as myself would stop by he would sit for hours and tell us what he saw on his walk through life.
We called him, Grandfathers messenger. I was curious about many things and I asked him a question once. I said, Tell me old one, Why do I dream of the shadows that walk between the world of those past and those living? Why can I hear them when those around me hear nothing?
He smiled and then replied, Because you can. You open your mind and listen with your ears and heart. Do not be fearful of things you do not understand young one. Creator knows your heart and he allows you to be whatever you want to be. They come to you because you are open to them and you will listen.
Why do they not come to me when I'm awake? I asked. Awe child they do but you do not hear them because your mind is active with other thoughts and your waking thoughts sometimes do not allow you to hear their voices. Why do I see things that happen in my dreams before they do? I asked. Sometimes child, It happens like this for are not we all a part of all things and are not our thought just another part of who we are? He replied.
I remembered the words of the old one for even though I did not understand all of what he told me, in my heart I knew he was right. Later in life I found that if I really listened I could indeed hear the voices of those that spoke to me from between the vials. Over the many years it has proved to be very interesting and I have learned many things through spirit.
